Class 7 - The Services We Offer Information about the services we offer, including leaflets, guidance and newsletters produced for the public and businesses. Allotments There are no allotments in Longstock administered by the Parish Council. Burial grounds and closed churchyards The Parish Council is the Burial Authority for the cemetery in Church Road. A map of the grave plots is displayed on the cemetery noticeboard and a copy is obtainable from the Clerk. Community centres and village halls The Parish Council is the Custodian Trustee of the village hall but the hall operates as an independent entity with its own management committee. Parks, playing fields and recreational facilities The recreational ground is owned by The John Lewis Partnership (Waitrose Limited) and leased to the Parish Council for a 25 year term from 6th November 2006. Seating, litter bins, clocks, memorials and lighting The street furniture owned and insured by the Parish Council includes 4 noticeboards, 5 benches, the War Memorial on The Broad and 13 street lights. The lights are maintained by Southern Electric Contracting. Bus shelters The Parish Council owns one public shelter in Longstock, on The Broad opposite the Peat Spade Inn. Markets There is no market in Longstock; the nearest one is held in Stockbridge Town Hall, 10:00 am to 11:30 am on Thursdays. Public Conveniences There are no public conveniences in Longstock; the nearest one is in Stockbridge High Street. Agency agreements There are no agency agreements.
