Class 3 - What our priorities are and how we are doing Strategies and plans, performance indicators, audits, inspections and reviews. Parish Plan - Current and previous year as a minimum Begun in December 2003 with a Steering Group initially under the Chairmanship of Mr Mike Jones and then Mr Richard Robinson (telephone 01264 810388), in response to the Countryside Agency's aim of helping communities achieve outcomes for 'inclusive communities', 'rural services', 'vibrant local economies', 'sustainable countryside' and 'opportunities for all'. The Steering Group first met in January 2004 and a grant of £1,687.50 was received from SEERA (SOUTH EAST ENGLAND REGIONAL ASSEMBLY). Over the following four years information was obtained from electors of the village on issues including road safety, social life/activities, affordable housing, caring community, planning for future development and communication. Information was collated in producing the Plan and also the Village Design Statement (VDS). The VDS was presented to the Borough Council in May 2008.
